Not just any measurement, but one of exceptional accuracy

The measurement technology stands out in two ways. The system automatically adjusts the measurement duration and intervals based on the machine’s condition. For example, if an anomaly is detected or the condition degrades rapidly, measurements are taken more frequently to obtain greater detail. As the system is wired, this can be done without any limitations imposed by battery consumption or sensor lifespan. 

By combining current and vibration measurements, anomalies are confirmed via two independent signals. This ensures the system remains reliable in machines fitted with variable-speed drives and in environments with high levels of ambient vibration. 

Analyse

Automatic analysis based on the mechanical passport

Using the mechanical passport and the RPMtracker he system analyses the measurement data entirely autonomously, in both the time and frequency domains. The mechanical passport automatically links measurement data to specific machine components, such as bearings, gears and motors. This eliminates the need for manual post-analysis and allows the condition of each machine component to be determined individually.

Based on the classified machine conditions, the system generates maintenance predictions that are independent of production load. This ensures that variations caused by heavy production batches are not confused with actual wear and tear on machine components.

When will the first condition values be available?

The first condition values are available within five minutes after installation. As no training period is required, you gain immediate insight into the condition of your machine. This allows you to take immediate action to prevent unplanned downtime.

What is the impact on our network?

The impact on your network is minimal. Our system operates independently of the customer’s network. Data is collected via a wired connection and forwarded to a central point. From there, the data is transmitted via a secure 4G connection or a wired VPN connection. The data can be stored in our database or within your own environment.

What is the difference between New Current and a standard vibration measurement?

A standard vibration measurement is often based on average values and only takes readings at intervals of a few seconds. As a result, it provides only a limited insight into exactly what is happening to a machine. Furthermore, ambient vibrations have a significant impact on the results. Our system therefore measures at high speed, delivering more accurate analyses, whereby anomalies become visible sooner and ambient noise is filtered out. Furthermore, the combination of vibration and current measurements provides double verification: anomalies are confirmed by multiple measurement sources. We then translate this complex data into a clear machine condition rating from 0 to 100%, so that the state of a machine is immediately clear.

Where is the data stored?

Data can be stored in our own database or within your own IT environment. This allows us to offer flexibility to organisations with specific requirements regarding data management, security and system integration.
